Rusagro launches 2 bln rbl mayonnaise factory near Saratov

SARATOV, Jun 9 (PRIME) -- Russian agricultural holding Rusagro launched a 2 billion ruble mayonnaise factory in the Saratov Region's city of Atkarsk on Tuesday.

The design capacity of the plant amounts to 120,000 tonnes of mayonnaise products per year and is to be attained in September. The capacity of the plant will grow by 30% more afterwards for vegetable oil production, shareholder Vadim Moshkovich said.

The governor's press office said that Rusagro decided in 2019 to relocate the mayonnaise capacity to Atkarsk from Moscow.
